Amazing Body Painting and Bibles 2011

I love traveling, not the fact of going somewhere else, but the action of traveling from one place to another. My fascination is of being anonymous, and of course the time spent “people watching”. This is often done alone, which I think is more entertaining as you are not distracted from the serious business of observing.
Two journeys this year, one to the UK and one day trip to Barcelona.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
The UK bound trip started with the normal commotion I always achieve at airports. This is caused by the habit of wearing as much as I can to avoid carrying it or more to the point paying the dreaded extortionate fees “excess baggage” what an awful term...nothing I carry is excess to my needs! So off go the alarms, I could offer my services to test their equipment because no matter what I remove I always set the systems blaring. After the “pat down” with nothing found to attribute to the noise I always hear myself apologise! With the current state of the world I am not complaining about these security measures I just would like to get through, just once, without this hullabaloo!
http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Then homeward bound, the UK airport tempted me with Marks and Spencer food outlet just before you go through customs control. Great idea, buy lunch, and a few presents to bring back, a thought of what you are allowed to have in hand luggage I avoided drinks but settle on a sandwich, fruit, biscuits etc plus cheeses and chutneys for friends. So I discover this is a ploy by airport staff to get free lunches, they confiscated the lot. Nowhere could I see on the list of banned items M&S lunch! I wanted to say “stop let me back over the barrier and I will eat it first” but the fear of not being let through to travel was greater than hunger.
http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
The day trip to Barcelona was just as eventful for different reasons. An unscheduled change of trains half way meant a different set of traveling companions. Sitting ourselves by the door, with an empty seat in front and two to the side, the carriage was almost full. Then, three young, smartly dressed men boarded, taking up the only empty seats. The first oddness I noticed they all wore the same jackets and had name badges so without further thought I assumed they were security or police. Then I saw the bibles they all started to read as we started out of the station. With an hours non stop journey to Barcelona in a full carriage, we start to realize that our traveling companions had a mission or should I say, they were missionaries. Within minutes they struck up conversation with us.
http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Caught off guard, but fascinated to understand why these three young American men were in Spain. To counter their obvious objective to discuss The Lord, we asked them many questions on their background, my friend and I taking it in turn to question them. The first thought that ran through my head was the “good cop bad cop” ploy we naturally adopted. The friend was gentle in the questioning I was not so! Why was I allowing myself to be drawn into this exchange? Not wanting my religious believes to be questioned or was I feeling confronted?
With the journey over, ahead of us the serious task of shopping. We starting walking from the station in the crowds of city folks going about their business. I could not believe what I saw next, as nobody else seemed to notice, I began to wonder if my eyes deceived me. “Did you see that”? “Was he wearing anything”? Not a pretty sight, just a man with clothes painted on his naked body. To add to the amusing spectacle...not a head was turned. Just like the earlier time in the train carriage I felt the day was going to be different, and it certainly was!

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/

Maybe that is the reason I love traveling, you cannot control what you may encounter only how you react to it.

Taking your car in for work can be really nerve racking. Not only are you worried about being overcharged, but how do you know they are doing a good job? When you take your car in to be repainted, it is important to find a place that can deliver perfection. Here is what you can look for to find the best auto shop to paint your vehicle.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
You are going to want to find a company that has a computer doing the paint matching. These computerized machines guarantee to find the best color match for your car. The last thing you want is to come out with a tie-dyed car of different shades!

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Ask your auto shop what method they use to paint your vehicle. If they used a Team BlowTherm Spray Booth and System then you are safe. These systems can ensure that you are getting factory like finishes by using a pressurized down draft paint booth. Now you can rest assured that your vehicle will return to its original status.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
A smart thing to do before deciding on any company is to do some research. Why not look at some before and after pictures of the work they've done? Think about it. You wouldn't just go get a tattoo from just any artist. You would look at their work first and get a feel for their performance. The same goes with anything else. A car is an investment, be smart about who you choose to take care of your possession.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
If you keep these things in mind when shopping around for the right auto body shop, your paint job should turn out just fine. Now the only thing you have to worry about is keeping the inside of your car looking as sharp as your new paint job!

Best Women Body Painting Collections

Body painting is one of the oldest and ancient forms of art; it is an impermanent art that lasts only for couple of hours or either for couple of weeks. Body paint design is the attraction to guarantee success, for the one who desires to promote themselves in an untraditional and unique way. Today there are numerous body paint designs and designers from which you can pick the type of body paint design you want and from the desired place as well.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
The Body paint designs are influenced by everything and everyone, it can be picked from any where which could include cartoons, history, politics, and anything which you can imagine, any design from flower designs to geometric designs to animal designs, the possibilities are pretty much unlimited. Nevertheless the traditional way for body paint design is a bit time consuming and is incredibly messy.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
However, any one who wishes to get body paint design requires loads of information and practical information to get the desired design. Eventually, with the advancement in time and techniques, some better ways to get the body paint design with a little mess and in minimum time have been discovered. Those are:
Markers
The body paint design markers are completely safe to use and these markers gives a translucent effect which is very similar to permanent tattooing. The designs made from these markers stay on the body fairly well until and unless it is not washed off. The most amazing colors that are available in these markers are silver and gold, these colors really looks great and are generally used to making stripes and some large area metallic, but however it is not practical to use these markers for full body coverage.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Air brush make up
This is comparatively better to make body paint designs than the body markers, as these are safer, flexible and gives speed. If you work for a commercial customer, and also doing photo shoot, than the air brush textile acrylics are the best thing what you can use. This is a great balance between utility and low cost, and is specifically formulated for applying on the skin.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
The body paint design designed from the air brush textile acrylics dries off quickly and also don't rub off easily, but can be easily rinsed off with soap or water. The key to fine airbrush body design is to lay down thinnest dense coat you can because the multiple or thicker coat flake and peel more readily.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Liquid latex
Liquid latex has gained popularity in some last couple of years, earlier it was available as a make up material but now it is used for body paint design as well and is available in plethora of colors including clear and black. It is also very easy to apply than any other paint and can be applied in less than thirty minutes and moreover, it cleans off really quickly. One single coat of latex liquid is alone enough for body design and can last for a day.
Finally, it is always recommendable to test the skin of the model and the product you are using. Try on a small area first and wait for few minutes to check if there is any kind of reaction.

Body Painting Women For Men

Since the beginning of time, humans have always had the desire to create art. Through this desire body painting was born, making the human body the first canvass. The history of this craft stretches so far back that historians consider it to be the earliest form of art. Compared to other types of body art like tattoos or piercing, this is impermanent. It lasts only for a few hours at most.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
During the ancient times, tribes would often use this during celebrations and important ceremonies. Each color had its own corresponding meaning. Chieftains and warriors commonly had their own styles to indicate their status in the tribe. Around the 12th century, a new kind of body painting known as the Mehendi became popular. The Mehendi is an extremely old ritual that originated from Egypt. It is the art of using henna to paint the body. This type of dye usually lasts a little longer, about a 1-2 weeks before fading. Natives of South America also had their own methods of ornamenting their bodies. They would use wet charcoal also known as huito. Like henna, huito is also semi-permanent lasting for a few weeks.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
In today's modern era, this has become a way of self-expression. This has been spurred on by the liberality of modern society. If before nudity was deemed by society as inappropriate and improper, now it is something to be flaunted. In the guise of self-expression and the practice of human freedom, this has become a means of grabbing the public's attention. This is especially effective during protests and rallies. Instead of bringing placards and sign boards, the protesters would instead paint on themselves.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
The art of body painting can morph a human being into a beautiful work of art. It can make a statement that words alone cannot express, create a more appealing presentation, and add meaning and significance to an important occassion. It is used not only for the living, but also to preserve the dead. Truly it has attained world wide significance that will last till the end of time.

The Beauty of Body Paint Art

Painting walls is an important part of painting your house. From cutting-in to rolling. This article is a brief summary of best practices for wall painting focusing on cutting-in and general brush usage. The way to paint a wall is to do the edges first (cutting-in) and then fill in the middle. There are a few different methods of cutting-in but the most popular is using a brush. When applying paint with a brush it can be hard to get a straight line, but there are a few tricks to help you along the way.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
First is loading your brush, when 'loading' your brush with paint it's important to make sure you've got enough paint on your brush. You don't want to over load it but you also don't want to be dry brushing. Stab your brush into the paint a few times to load it up, it will quickly fill up with paint, glide your brush over the edge of the can to remove excess. It's important to make the distinction between squeezing it against the edge and gliding it against the edge; the goal is to remove just the outside paint and you do not want to squeeze out the inner-paint, this is the paint you are going to apply to the wall.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Brush control is very important and comes with experience, however, there are a few things you can actively do to improve your performance. Always use your full arm when controlling the brush, you paint using your shoulder and not your elbow or wrist. Using your body in this way helps to maintain a better overall control of the brush allowing you the paint a straight line on that wall. It also helps you to complete your painting work faster and reduces overall strain from the repetition of painting. Another trick I've used when cutting-in is to exhale slowly as you bring your brush in-line with the cut. This not only increases your focus and concentration on the task at hand (painting the wall) but serves to relax your body at the same time, increasing your painting accuracy and thereby your overall painting efficiency.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Sometimes you run into the problems when cutting-in the wall, typical problems vary but these are minor situations such as too much paint in one spot that creates runs and drips or you've got a spider that's trying to get involved in the painting project. Typically when you've got too much paint on a spot it's because you haven't back brushed the area properly, or you've overloaded your brush. When applying the paint always use a minimum of three strokes. First stroke is from the dry wall back into the fresh paint, the next stroke is back out of the previously painted spot back to where you started and past that point, and the last stroke is back into the wet paint (back brush) past where your initial stroke went. Usually you'll do more than three strokes to fully spread the paint but the important part is the final stroke back into the wet paint, this is more important than just to spread the paint and essentially 'combines' the whole painted surface. With a strict practice in hand you can help to minimize these sort of paint problems.

Body Painting Jessica Gomes

Are you considering making a living (or at least a little money on the side) doing body painting? Is it even possible to make a living doing body painting? Yes, you can make good money as a 'pro' body painter, and even kids as young as twelve have made good money (like $500-$400 in an afternoon) doing simple painting techniques like airbrushed temporary tattoos at fairs and festivals.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
It may be difficult to believe that there are so many different ways to make money doing body painting. I know that when I first discovered the art of body painting, I thought maybe you could make some temporary money at a party or fair. But there are many, many more possibilities, as you will see.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Here are just 10 of the ways you could get paid to do body painting:
1. Doing body painting at parties. You could hire yourself for a night or a day and get paid either by the hour or a flat fee for the event.
2. Painting party-goers before they go to a party or event. Themed or holiday parties would be a good opportunity for this. Make sure you mention that you could body paint their friends, too!
3. As a professional body painter for the theatre. You could do one show for a discount to get in the door and get some recognition, if you don't have a track record yet.
4. Travel with the circus as their 'in house' makeup artist.
5. Become the official body painter for a dance company. Again, you could work for a low fee or even free to get in the door.
6. Face painting alone opens up several opportunities: parties, festivals, fairs, and special events all are possible places for you to set up shop. Just make sure (as with all these options) that you are using proper, non-allergenic paints meant for face painting alone.
7. Special events like graduations, celebrations, fundraisers, and reunions.
8. Sports events: painting fans in their team colors and symbols has had a long tradition.
9. Festivals around the world. There are several festivals specifically for body painting around the world, but there are many more that would be a great place for body painting. Look up the festivals in your area and find out how to become a vendor and what their requirements and rules are.
10. Teach others how to do body painting. You could hold a one-time workshop, give ongoing group classes or even do an online body painting course (as I am doing).

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
I hope this gives you some good ideas about how you could make money as a body painting artist. Maybe you have even thought of some ways that I didn't include...great! Choose one method, research what you need to do to get started, and go for it!
Bonus Tip:
Here's a secret hint...as you are considering one of the possibilities above. Don't choose what you think would make you the most money...choose what you think you would happiest and best at doing. You will always make more doing something you love doing, in the long run!

Body Painting Swimsuits

Every woman's body is unique. They are like fingerprints. There are no two in the world that are of the same proportion or skin tone. A female's body is extremely complex and exhibits exceptional depth. A painted on bikini shows off her unique stature and ultimate sex appeal.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
If you've ever wanted to have a swimsuit painted on your body, don't delay because you think it's a difficult process. Actually, it's a very relaxing and expeditious event that you are sure to enjoy.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 1
First, you would most likely seek out an artist who's work you admire. If an individual can paint properly on canvas, they can surely develop art on a woman's body. Get references of their work and compare shop with multiple artists.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 2
Be sure that you are comfortable with being completely disrobed and exposed in front of this person. If it's a stranger, then you may want to take along a friend and inquire as to whether there will be female assistants in the room.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 3
Make sure your body is completely hairless. A total body wax a few days before the session would be recommended.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 4
The day of the session, give any input as to what you are looking for. Let the artist know if you are looking for a traditional, brazilian or micro bikini look or an exotic design like scales and flowers painted on.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 5
Sit back and enjoy the experience. After the majority of the artwork has been applied, the artist will use a brush for fine detail and touch ups. The average application time is about one to two hours.

http://free-bodypainting-pictures.blogspot.com/
Step 6
Once completed there is a one to two hour window in which you can take photos or show off your original swimsuit design. After that time, the paint may begin to crack, especially if you are moving around a lot.
Getting a body paint bikini is a wonderful experience. It further expresses your body's uniqueness plus you'll have something to brag about and show off to all of your friends. Enjoy.

Events Include: World Championships in 3 categories; night contest for UV effects, Special Effects awards; classes and workshops; BodyCircus (fantasy ball); music and dance performances; an international photo contest; and a huge fireworks show.
Artistic Range: One of the very best, with stunning range of styles and surprising themes.
Family Friendliness: Not clear, but it is in Europe, so not likely to ban under 18. However this body painting festival does not advertise itself as family friendly, as some others do.

2. The Canadian Body Painting Festival
This is another body painting festival that showcases simply stunning artists and finished work. The quality of the art here is similar to that seen at the World Body Painting Festival. The Festival is themed from year to year, with the recent theme being "It's A Jungle Out There." Also includes the Canadian Body Painting Championships.
Where: Nanaimo, British Columbia
Duration: Two days
Events Include: Competitions in overall body painting, brush and sponge, and airbrush; includes the Canadian body painting Championships
Artistic Range: Most stunning, and one of the best overall. Very life-like and fantastic double-take images.
Family Friendliness: Not stated - would be worth making a call first.

3. The International Body Painting Festival
This festival takes place in Mainz, a city with over two thousand years of history. It is located on the river Rhine, has strong Celtic roots and may have been founded by the Romans as early as 13 BC. One can imagine that body painting has a long history here, if you remember the Celtic tradition of painting their bodies before going into battle. Once again, the artistic ability and range is stunning at this International festival.
Where: Mainz, Germany
Duration: Weekend festival
Events Include: Competitions include special effects and face painting
Artistic Range: Very stunning; high artistic skill.
Family Friendliness: Not known but again, it's in Europe. I would call ahead.

4. Welsh International Body Painting Festival
This festival is a bit younger and less established than the top 3, although it has some impressive artwork considering that they are just getting started. Also the atmosphere is more 'fun' orinted, less 'high art' and family participation is strongly encouraged. A good festival to consider if you want to make it a family outing and see some amazing work in the process.
Where: Wales (of course)
Duration: Two days
Events Include: Hands on demonstrations; horror specialists and flower specialists
Artistic Range: High, and impressive for a smaller sized event; not as subtle or creative as some of the others
Family Friendliness: Very good; in fact they encourage families and camping, with an 'all ages' atmosphere and events designed for younger participants.

5. The UK Body Painting Festival
This festival showcases some of the least impressive - although most amusing - body painting, although it should be said that it is not presented as a stuffy 'high art' affair, but more a circus or county fair type outing for the entire family. Fun, relaxed and un-selfconscious atmosphere allows for some of the more surprising and purely 'fun' body art to be seen. If you're not a supermodel and would like to get your body painted without worrying about snide comments, this might be a good option for you.
Where: Ashford, UK
Duration: Two days
Events Include: Family-oriented face painting, body painting competitions for professional and amateur categories, craft fair, children's activities, workshops, and a 'bouncy castle.'
Artistic Range: Fair; more of a family outing with a lots to do than a showcase of spectacular art.
Family Friendliness: Very high; advertised as family event. Lowest cost of all the body painting festivals - comparable to a movie ticket.

6. The US Bodypainting Festival (or New Mexico Body Painting Festival/US Bodypainting Competition)
There is definitely some impressive body painting to be seen at this festival, and a lot of creative innovation with hair and unusual designs that you won't see anywhere else. One example that springs to mind is a model dressed in racecar theme with red, white and blue hair sprayed out behind her as though flying in the wind. Also, if you're in the US this festival obviously doesn't require a plane ticket. However this is not a family outing, as it explicitly bans anyone under 18.
Where: Alberquerque, New Mexico
Duration: Three days
Events Include: Demonstrations, workshops, competitions in body painting
Artistic Range: Good to poor - there is a mix of very impressive artistic works and things better left unpainted here; although it's all 'interesting.'
Family Friendliness: Not at all. We are in the US remember; no one under 18 allowed.
So that's my brief overview of the top 6 body painting festivals in the world. Would you like to take a vacation this year that's not your ordinary 'hum-drum' trip? Pick one of these festivals and you can pack light (you know, you could just bring a can of paint and a paintbrush for evening wear)!
